DONATION PROCESS
The donation process from the time you arrive at the center, until the time you leave
REGISTRATION
You will need to complete a simple registration form that captures all the details we need from the donor. All information is kept confidential.
SCREENING
A drop of blood from your finger will take for simple test to ensure that your blood iron levels are proper enough for donation process.
DONATION
After passing the screening test successfully, you will be directed to a donor bed to begin. It will take only 15 minutes maximum to complete donating.
Good To Know
Bloodforce is a private organisation rallying regular blood donors to provide critical support to Ghana’s healthcare system. Here are some quick notes before coming to donate:
- Maintain a healthy iron level by eating iron rich foods.
- Drink an extra 16 oz. of water prior to your donation.
- Avoid alcohol consumption before your blood donation.
- Remember to bring the donor card or national ID/Passport.
- Finally, try to get a sound sleep after donation.
